Beginning in 1984, Joe Smith from Phillipston, MA has been involved in the Buck Hill Conservation Center and Worcester County Conservation District. For over 42 years, he’s been heavily involved in conservation, stewardship and forestry. Joe’s contributions and positive impact on the development of the WCCD has been crucial to maintaining the District over the years. As Joe moves on with the next chapter in his life, we conducted an interview to preserve some of this institutional knowledge, experience and happy memories.
