Grows 2-4′ tall in a range of soils. Yellow-orange flowers bloom June/July. A great shrub for those difficult dry, shaded areas. Spreads somewhat aggressively by rhizomes which can be helpful as erosion control or along edges of driveways. Beautiful red fall foliage. A good replacement for non native honeysuckles. Highly tolerant of urban pollution. Native to Massachusetts.

Size: 12-18″ bare root seedling

Attracts hummingbirds. Host to hummingbird moth among other pollinators. On Dr. RJ Gegear’s list of plants for at risk pollinators.
