Blueberry – Jersey

1 plant for $15

Late season, high yielding variety. Grows 6-7’ tall, 5-6’ wide. Small to medium sized, sweet berries. One of oldest and widely grown varieties. Tolerates wide range soils.

Jersey can self-pollinate, but will make more and larger fruit if you have another late-season variety within 10′ to enable cross pollination by insects.

Our supplier is now offering these plants in 1 liter pots, delivering vigorous, strong plants for easy transplanting and quick establishment.  Plants are sheared to 12-14″ to increase top growth in the first year.  Eliminates the drying out and transplant shock that can occur with bare root blueberry plants. Full Sun, moist soil. Photo credit: USDA/Public Domain
