Learn all about the Eastern Bluebird and its environmental and cultural significance. Once a declining species, conservation efforts have been successful in recovering the Bluebird.

During the webinar, we’ll cover:

Habitat
Behavior
Nesting habits
Predators
Other bird species and their positive/negative impacts
Nest boxes for your backyard

Part 2 of this webinar series will be an in-person demonstration & discussion on installing the wooden nest boxes. Boxes made with locally sourced materials by our own WCCD Supervisors, Tom Ashton and Josh Soojian, are available for purchase. Purchased boxes can be picked up during the demonstration. A link to purchase boxes will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
