The foliage is  light green, delicate fine leaved, yet dense.  It is covered with numerous small pink flowers with yellow centers in mid-summer. This profuse and lengthy bloomer flowers summer through early fall can be cut back in late summer to promote new early autumn flowers. An excellent ground cover or mounding border plant, pink coreopsis spreads easily. Full sun, moist to wet soils, mature height 18-24” tall. 24-36” wide. Native to Massachusetts.

Also known as Pink Threadleaf Coreopsis, Pink Coreopsis, or Pink Tickseed. The latter name comes from the seeds resemblance to ticks. Birds eat the seeds.
