Tart Cherry – Montmorency (Prunus cerasus)

This tart cherry is great for juice, dried cherries, pies and preserves.  Produces large, red, tart fruit, early to mid- summer.  Grows 10′ – 20′ tall. The tree is cold-hardy. Self pollinating. Old variety from France.

Full Sun.  Sandy or loamy soil, does well in even in poor soils, tolerates some drought.
