Galanthus elwesii

The Giant Snowdrop. The best variety for naturalizing in American gardens, this large-flowering Greek native, circa 1874, has broad, ivory flowers tipped green with gray-green foliage. It well deserves it’s many awards. Bulb size: 7 cm/up. March/April. Plant 4″ deep and 2″ to 4″ apart. HZ: 3-8. Height: 5″ to 8″.Photo credit to Van Engelen Inc.
