These plants get 24” – 36” feet tall and 12” – 24” wide, clump forming. Hardy plant, blooms starting in June and continues until frost. Sturdy stems do not need staking. Good for cut flowers or you can leave stems and seed heads all winter for food and interest. Mix of cultivars. Grows best in full sun, loves heat, well drained sandy and richer soils, is drought tolerant after establishment. Deer resistant. Native to southeastern and central US.

Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Special value to native bees.
