Bladdernut (Staphylea trifolia)

Fast growing, upright, grows to 10-15’. Thrives in disturbed habitats including forest borders and roadsides. White, bell-shaped flowers become papery seed capsules. Hosts native bees. Only member of its family in New England. Relatively pest free.
