GENERAL SALE INFORMATION 2026

Order early!  Quantities are limited.  Sizes are estimations and dependent upon growing conditions at the supplier nurseries.  We strive to deliver healthy plants, but unfortunately can’t guarantee survival after pick up.

Please inform us at pick up time if you have concerns about the quality of your order.  There are no refunds after orders are picked up.  Please share your successes and failures with us so we can take that into account when deciding on suppliers and species in the future.

Most plants are bare root seedlings or saplings that arrive in winter dormancy, without leaves or flowers. Bare root means your plant is a stem or trunk with roots but without soil.  It is protected by damp packing. Prepare your earth as soon as the ground can be worked, and plant promptly.  If you can’t plant right away, put plants in a cool, shady place, out of the wind, and keep them moist, but not too wet. Mulching and regular watering during the first three years will ensure your plants become well-established. Pay extra close attention to the weather!

You will receive an email confirmation after you submit and pay for your order. Please note that our transactions online are processed via Square and will show up on your bank statement as Square. It’s helpful to bring the order confirmation email when you pick up, either on your mobile device or printed out.

All orders must be picked up Saturday, May 2nd between 9AM and 12PM. Pick is at the location you choose at check out. Please make arrangements for someone to pick up for you if you can’t make it. Orders not picked up become a donation to  WCCD.
