Mid season. Half-high variety from a cross between Vaccinium corymbosum and V. angustifolium. Northblue grows to just 3 feet tall, with an upright, open form. Grows well in containers and works well as edible landscaping. Consistent producer of small wild-tasting berries. Have survived temperatures as low as -35F! Self fertile but can produce more berries with an additional plant.
Plants are in 1 liter pots, delivering vigorous, strong plants for easy transplanting and quick establishment. Plants are sheared to 12-14″ to increase top growth in the first year. Eliminates the drying out and transplant shock that can occur with bare root blueberry plants. Full Sun, moist soil.
