Fragrant white flowers clusters in May, dense dark-green summer foliage, wine-red fall color, blue-black berries which persist through winter. Mature height 8-18’ and spread of 6-12′. Prefers moist soil but will adapt to dry soil. Tolerates air pollution and drought. Useful as a hedge or in a rain garden. Native to Massachusetts.
