Seedling Pick Up Day is Saturday, May 5th 9am-12noon. Please contact Lisa.trotto@ma.usda.gov if you have a question regarding your order. There will be limited amount of inventory available for sale at the Jordan Dairy Farm.
MA Envirothon will be held on Thursday, May 17th Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park. Every year, Envirothon teams representing schools and community organizations across Massachusetts prepare for this statewide event that tests their knowledge of forests, wildlfe, water, and soil resources and of current environmental issues. Become a Friend of the Worcester County Conservation District and attend a meeting as we seek input on natural resource concerns in Worcester County. POut next meeting will be held late April in Leominster. Please contact Lisa.trotto@ma.usda.gov if you are interested in attending.
The next meeting between WCCD and Agricultural Commissions will take place June 23rd, 4pm Potluck Supper at the North Country Sustainability Center Inc., 13 Memorial Drive, Ashburnham. Click here for more information on the Center and for directions.
